Second Act Designs

I began quilting about 30 years ago. One of my first projects was a log cabin quilt that I worked on and off for about 2 years, taking occasional breaks to make a quilt for someone’s new baby. It was on our bed for about 8 years until many washings had made it too thin to keep you warm anymore. For the better part of ten years most of the quilts I made were gifts for my friends’ babies. And then for another 10 years or so, very little quilting was done due to the busy life of a working mom. I am so happy to have found more time for it in the last few years.
